Drafting of the project for the renovation of the EX-373 road, owned by the Junta de Extremadura, on the section between the start of the N-630 and the A-66. When the project was drawn up, the road had a platform of approximately 5 m wide, with no hard shoulder or berms, a layout which combined long straight sections with tight bends and a layout with many change of gradients. The heavy traffic generated by the High-Speed Railway construction has damaged the road surface in recent years.
